News w/b 25th January

At last the snow has gone. Luckily, we did not have many horses in full work so the weather hasn't been a great interruption. In fact in the last three weeks the horses only missed three days, and on those days they were kept going in the indoor school. As you can see from the photos below the polytrack gallop was kept open thanks to the heroic efforts Benny and Malcolm the Gallops Men. The rest of the staff must also get a mention as everyone tried to get in, some walking five miles to get here!

All the older horses are cantering now. There are a few unraced/once raced three year olds who's work is being stepped up with an eye on running them soon. The two year olds are all going well and we still have a few coming in from studs and pre-training yards.
