David "Foxy" Fowler
“I'm one of the Head Lads and I am based in Rosehill, which is an extension of the main yard. We have all the yearlings there while they're being broken so it's always an interesting place to work ”

Steve May and Amelia Oberholzer
Steve has been worked for Mr Hills almost as long as Snowy although he takes
considerably less time to tell a story. He is head lad and supports Manchester
United. Some of the good horses he has looked after include Bolas who won an
Irish and Yorkshire Oaks and Sure Sharp. He has been with Amelia, who is from
South Africa for the last few years.

Travelling Head Lad Geoff Snook
Geoff Snook says "I have been employed by Mr Hills for 33
years and Travelling Head Lad for 27 years. I enjoy the work and
being involved with good horses.
Favourite horse is Rheingold. He was the first horse I looked after
as an apprentice to win me a race. In all he won 9 races and finished
his career winning the Arc in '73"

"Snowy" Outen with Haafhd
"I have been 35 years with Mr Hills, 25 of them as Headman. We
have had a good many winners including the 1000 and 2000 Guineas,
Arc
and many, many more, but we never got a Derby. I would do it all
again.
My favourite horse is Haafhd, he is a top class horse and
a genius. He is a pleasure to look after and very knowing."

Pam Olver with Captain Marvellous
Captain Marvellous has been a very smart 2yo in 2006, by Invincible Spirit, who was the top 2yo sire that year. He was 3rd in a Group 1 at Newmarke and won a Group 2 in France. He looks a progressive colt." |

Paul Harrod
Having spent thirty five plus years in the racing industry and been
employed by trainers who have trained many classic winners in the
past, it will be nice to end my career in such a professionally
run yard, both for the staff and the well being of the horses under
their charge.
